What We Do
The Refugee Livelihood Programmes by RIO aim to enfranchize refugees through inclusive initiatives in Agriculture, Health, Education, and Finances. Focusing on social cohesion and economic development and integration, the programme promotes sustainable micro-economies within settlements and refugee camps.
By providing training in diverse agricultural practices, healthcare, and financial literacy, refugees are equipped to contribute actively to their host communities. Emphasizing cultural integration and the innovative inclusion of Susu communal banking, the programme envisions a resilient and self-sufficient future for refugees, fostering economic independence and social cohesion. Ongoing support ensures the success of this transformative initiative.
